In a future where Earth has become an abandoned wasteland of rubbish, the small robot Wall-E continues his lonely mission of cleaning up the planet. When Eve, a sleek search robot, arrives from space, Wall-E gives her a seedling that proves the planet can nurture life again. This discovery leads them to travel to the spaceship where humanity has lived for centuries.

On board the ship, humans have become lazy and apathetic, having grown overly dependent on technology. The arrival of Wall E and Eve sets off a chain reaction that reignites humanity’s determination to return to Earth and rebuild their home.
