{"data-model-common":[{"name":"lang", "value":"en"} ,{"name":"detail-page-free", "type":"replicant", "value": [ ]} ,{"name":"programmeDescription", "type":"text", "value":"Presented by: Jazz Society<br /><br />Co-produced by: Dimension Plus<br /><br />The pulsation of the body, the beat of sound, and the flicker of digital signals&mdash;each offers a singular interpretation; together they compose a suite of variations on &lsquo;Pulse&rsquo;.<br /><br />When visuals, sound, and physical movement are reciprocally transcoded and reconfigured, the boundaries between these three media dissolve, forging a transcendent sensory conversion that manifests the transmutation of 'motion'.<br /><br />Presented by Jazz Society, Pulse (Work-in-progress Showcase) features Alan Kwan as Music Director, in collaboration with EKCC Venue Partner Dimension Plus, including Keith Lam as Artistic Director and Seth Hon as Visual Artist. This production also features the co-founder of Chestroll Dance Crew Ocean Wong and pianist Ricky Wong. Together, they explore the potential for resonance and transformation between visual data, sound, and physical movement, creating a subtle dialogue between these distinct 'Pulses'.<br /><br />This cross-media experiment will see its official premiere at EKCC's The Theatre in November 2025, with its Artist-in-Residence, Ivanhoe Lam, joining as co-director and choreographer.
