The project will be hosted by children's theatre creator Lee Hoi-yan, whom combines Chinese music, glove puppets, and family-oriented interactive workshops to bring the audience's interest in the Zodiac theme into an entertaining performance. Lee will engage the audience in a lively and interactive way, while the "YY PopUp Ensemble" uses the unique tones of traditional musical instruments to mimic the sounds of the Twelve Zodiac animals and perform Chinese folk tales, offering the audience an immersive experienc e of Chinese culture. The project is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
