The workshop "Discover Cantonese Opera: A Multicultural Workshop" provides a platform for non-ethnic Chinese audiences in the community, especially those who speak Cantonese, to experience this art form and further integrate Cantonese opera into the community, gently inspiring the interest of general public in Cantonese Opera. The project is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.
